Summer Memories

Remember those days of going back to school and writing….. What did I do over the summer vacation? Join Wendy and me in the tent as we share our summer experiences, emotions, and shenanigans. I love this word, shenanigans because it has multiple meanings. Sure, it means mischievous but it also means complicated and humorous activities. We’ll reminisce about our summer adventures, analyze some emotions, and share some plans for season 2 of the Indigo Tent. How did y’all spend your summer?

Blueberry and blackberry ice-cream

So, grab a bowl of ice cream. Why you ask? Real simple….it is one of our favorite things to eat! Join us in the tent as we unpack some details and share some exciting news!

Our summer break? Even during the Corona Virus? We each had a really good summer full of traveling, hiking, and exploring. I’m working on the next phase of the yoga journey….. 500 hours of training with a focus on anatomy and biomechanics. Wendy is finishing some required writing and research as part of the professor thing and together we are planning and plotting season 2 of the podcast and beyond; more details in the next few months.

Wendy traveled to California and lived to tell about the adventure. After time on the West coast, she traveled to Utah, spent time with her family, and……. She is going to be a grandmother!!! The new baby is a girl so I could not resist this photo!!!!!

Season 2 of the Indigo Tent will include interviews with everyday people working hard to live an authentic life while being true to their higher selves. We’re also going to delve deep into the creative energy behind the movement and dis-spell some long-held and too often-repeated myths!!!!

Moments with Your Higher Self

Carefully curated activities – we’re educators, we know that reflection on a topic (homework) works and these activities can help us share even more moments with our higher self.

  • Write about a summer event in your journal.
  • Post a few photos from a summer event or family gathering on Facebook.
  • Make a list of 5 things you learned over the summer. This is an idea from Emily P. Freeman. She suggests that we follow a seasonal pattern with our lives and our reflections.

We love and appreciate each of you and look forward to meeting up with you in the tent!!!
